Skillplate Subprocessors

This page identifies third-party subprocessors that Skillplate may use to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Skillplate services.
This Subprocessor List forms part of the Skillplate Data Processing Addendum available at: https://skillplate.com/legal/dpa
Capitalized terms not defined on this page have the meanings given to them in the Skillplate Terms of Service or Data Processing Addendum.

1. What is a Subprocessor?

A subprocessor is a third-party service provider that Skillplate uses to process Customer Personal Data on behalf of Skillplate customers.
For example, a subprocessor may help Skillplate provide hosting, infrastructure, payments, email delivery, analytics, advertising, security, or other operational services.
Skillplate does not publish detailed internal infrastructure, network architecture, database schema, security configuration, source code, or non-personal-data technical components. This page is intended to provide transparency about third-party providers that may process Customer Personal Data on behalf of Skillplate.

2. Authorization to Use Subprocessors

By using Skillplate, the Customer authorizes Skillplate to use the subprocessors listed on this page in accordance with the Skillplate Data Processing Addendum.
Skillplate requires subprocessors to process Customer Personal Data only as necessary to provide their services to Skillplate and to maintain appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.
Skillplate remains responsible for the performance of its subprocessors to the extent required by applicable data protection laws and the Skillplate Data Processing Addendum.

3. Current Subprocessors

Skillplate currently uses the following subprocessors to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Services.

Cloudflare, Inc.

Skillplate uses Cloudflare for content delivery, DNS, security, performance optimization, traffic routing, DDoS protection, and related infrastructure services.
Cloudflare may process IP addresses, device data, browser data, request data, log data, website traffic data, security event data, and related technical metadata.
Cloudflare may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

Google / Alphabet

Skillplate may use Google / Alphabet services for cloud services, analytics, advertising, measurement, communication, productivity, security, and related operational services.
Google / Alphabet may process account data, usage data, analytics data, device data, browser data, IP addresses, advertising and conversion data, support-related data, and related metadata.
Google / Alphabet may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

Meta Platforms, Inc.

Skillplate may use Meta for advertising, conversion tracking, analytics, audience measurement, campaign performance, and related marketing services.
Meta may process website event data, advertising identifiers, browser data, device data, IP addresses, conversion data, and related metadata.
Meta may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

Amazon Web Services, Inc.

Skillplate uses Amazon Web Services for cloud hosting, infrastructure, storage, compute, database, networking, backup, logging, monitoring, security, and related services.
Amazon Web Services may process account data, creator data, user data, product data, course data, community data, checkout-related data, CRM data, files, content, logs, IP addresses, device data, and related technical metadata.
Amazon Web Services may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

Mailgun Technologies, Inc.

Skillplate uses Mailgun for transactional email delivery, email routing, email logs, deliverability, and related communication services.
Mailgun may process names, email addresses, message content, email metadata, delivery data, bounce data, unsubscribe data, IP addresses, and related communication metadata.
Mailgun may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

DigitalOcean, LLC

Skillplate uses DigitalOcean for cloud hosting, infrastructure, storage, compute, database, networking, backup, monitoring, and related services.
DigitalOcean may process account data, creator data, user data, product data, website data, files, logs, IP addresses, device data, and related technical metadata.
DigitalOcean may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

Stripe, Inc.

Skillplate uses Stripe for payment processing, billing, subscriptions, invoices, fraud prevention, tax-related processing, checkout, and financial transaction services.
Stripe may process names, email addresses, billing details, transaction data, subscription data, payment method metadata, fraud prevention data, tax-related data, customer identifiers, IP addresses, and related payment metadata.
Stripe may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other global locations.

4. International Data Transfers

Some subprocessors may process Customer Personal Data outside the country where the Customer or Data Subjects are located.
Where required by applicable data protection laws, Skillplate relies on appropriate transfer mechanisms, which may include:

  • (a) adequacy decisions;
  • (b) the EU Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • (c) the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK International Data Transfer Agreement;
  • (d) Swiss-recognized transfer mechanisms;
  • (e) participation in recognized data transfer frameworks, where applicable; or
  • (f) another lawful transfer mechanism.

5. Changes to Subprocessors

Skillplate may update this Subprocessor List from time to time.
Skillplate may add, replace, or remove subprocessors as necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, or improve the Services.
Where required by applicable data protection laws or the Skillplate Data Processing Addendum, Skillplate will provide notice of material changes to subprocessors by updating this page, email notice, in-product notice, or another reasonable method.
Customers may object to a new subprocessor on reasonable data protection grounds in accordance with the Skillplate Data Processing Addendum.

6. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing this Subprocessor List and determining whether their use of Skillplate complies with their own legal, regulatory, contractual, and data protection obligations.
Customers are also responsible for ensuring that they have a lawful basis to collect, upload, import, store, use, email, sell to, communicate with, or otherwise process personal data through Skillplate.
